My name is May Kramer. I am an artist and student, living and creating in Amiskwaciwâskahikan on Treaty 6 territory. I have been fortunate enough to already have a couple of galleries and displays under my belt, thanks to the wonderful community I've gathered in art school.
My work is often culturally influenced and a form of self-expression.
I enjoy a variety of mediums but I favour sculpture and drawing. I practice these traditionally, often with wood and charcoal, as well as digitally with 2D and 3D art programs. I tend to depict organic bodies and draw on patterns of symmetry, cyber sigilism and gothic motifs.
